Carasmark 4th Annual Walkathon
 Saturday, October 22nd, 2:00PM-4:00PM
Paper Mill Park in Newark, DE
(Paper Mill Rd. & Polly Drummond Hill Rd.)

Fun for the whole family! Dogs are welcome to walk too! Walkathon will feature prizes, face-painting, refreshments and a playground for kids. Invite your friends and family with you to come out and support a great cause. All money raised will benefit Carasmark.

To register:

$10- Individual, $30- Family, $40- Team (4-8 people)

Must register in advance. Register by October 5th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Email shannon@carasmark.org for a sponsor form (to keep track of the money you have raised) and to specify t-shirt sizes.

Congratulations to the Super Servers for winning the summer volleyball league for the second year in a row!

Dinner Project Menu: Lasagna, caesar salad, garlic bread and mixed berry yogurt pie.

3rd Annual Summer Volleyball League starts on July 10 and runs through August 7. To participate, email shannon@carasmark.org

Dinner Project Menu: Sausage & peppers, rolls, pasta salad, and chocolate cream pie with fresh strawberries and blueberries.

The Backpack Project will be providing 600 elementary school students with backpacks filled with school supplies for the start of the 2011-2012 school year. The backpacks will be distributed to Title 1 school in Wilmington, DE (300) and New York, NY (300). This is possible in large part due to a grant from The Wilmington Flower Market and a donation from the Operations and Technology Division of WSFS Bank.

Looking Back… $360 was raised at an Irish-themed tea party on April 16th. There were 24 guests in attendance. Special thanks to Johannah Hilferty, Rachel Kulp, Elizabeth Stout and Kristen Hilferty for volunteering their time.

Pizza Fundraiser
Carasmark will be holding a fundraiser at Peace a Pizza on Main St. in Newark, DE on May 11th from 5:00pm-9:00pm. 20% of proceeds (from orders (presented with Carasmark coupon) will be donated to Carasmark. Email shannon@carasmark.org for more details and coupon.

Carasmark 3rd Annual Walkathon

4:30-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010

Crossan Park in Landenberg, PA

Bring the whole family and join us at the park to raise money for a great cause. Pizza and refreshments available for purchase. Prizes will be awarded to those who raise the most money. The end of summer is upon us and Carasmark has quite a few fundraising events to look forward to this fall. Our Volleyball League kicks off this Sunday at Nicholl Park in Landenberg, PA.
Carasmark’s 3rd Annual Walkathon will be held in two locations this October: Pennsylvania & New York!
The Holiday Boutique will be held on Saturday, December 4. Location to be announced soon.

Carasmark will be holding its 2nd annual “Holiday Boutique” fundraiser on Friday & Saturday, December 4th & 5th from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Featuring handmade bags, jewelry, notecards, scarves, specialty food items, gift certificates & more!
The event will be held at The Barn, located at 3224 Appleton Rd. Landenberg, PA 19350.
