We’re excited to announce a brand new fundraiser- the musical theatre production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” as seen on Broadway! All proceeds from the show benefit The Backpack Project.
A troupe of volunteer actors (Christy Wyatt, Barb Walker, Art Bookout, Anthony Tumolo, Jeff Kobasa & Shannon Lynch) have come together to perform this beloved Peanuts classic as a way to raise money to provide children with backpacks this summer.
Come join us on January 18th at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 3224 Appleton Rd. Landenberg, PA 19350 at 2:00 or at 7:00 and be prepared to be entertained. Tickets are $10 per person. Children under 5 are free.

What an exciting year it was for Carasmark! We started off the year by celebrating our 5th anniversary and threw a Masquerade Gala in March to mark the occasion. In May, the Wilmington Flower Market supported us again by granting $2000 for the Backpack Project. With that money (and quite a bit more that we raised) we were able to provide 800 elementary school students with backpacks filled with school supplies. The Dinner Project provided meals for 1000 people.
In December, we hit an exciting milestone. The total amount of money raised since beginning reached $30,000. That money has provided 2,400 backpacks filled with school supplies and provided meals for 3,240 people as well as helping out 2 families who have lost a child.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making Carasmark a beautiful way to remember our daughter. It is truly appreciated.
One of our board members, Chris Fraser, has put together this run in memory of his beautiful nieces, Caitlyn Hayes Fraser and Laura E Coe.
The run will be Saturday, December 7 at 9:00AM in Chesapeake City, MD. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
If you’d like to donate to support the run you can do so by clicking “donate” above. All proceeds benefit Carasmark and go toward making a positive difference in the lives of children.
Who: Everyone! Bring the whole family; strollers are welcome.

See below for more details on The Backpack Project. To make a donation, please click the “donate” button at the top of this page.
Thank you for your support!
800 backpacks and supplies have arrived and will be stuffed and delivered to 8 elementary schools within the next couple of weeks. This is the largest amount of backpacks Carasmark has ever given away in one year, bringing our total up to 2400 backpacks given away to students since Carasmark was founded in 2008.

During 2012 Carasmark raised over $5800. We were able to use this money to provide backpacks to 700 students attending elementary schools in Wilmington, DE and NYC. We also fed 1000 people by providing 100 meals (each feeding 10) to families in need in and around Wilmington, DE.
Looking forward to another year filled with exciting fundraising events and more opportunities to meet the needs of children and families.
We will be providing families with a festive, home-cooked meal this holiday season. This month’s menu: glazed ham, macaroni & cheese, roasted green beans, dinner rolls, and an assortment of Christmas cookies.
The Dinner Project usually provides meals to 8 families per month but since it is the season of giving, we would like to provide as many meals as possible. Each meal (feeding 10 people) costs $25 to make. Would you be willing to donate $25 to provide a family with a delicious and much-appreciated holiday meal?
Giving a meal on someone’s behalf makes for an excellent Christmas present!
One of our board members, Chris Fraser, is organizing this race in memory of his two nieces, Caitlyn and Laura. Nathan Palkovitz and Shannon Lynch will be joining him in the race on Saturday, October 27th. To sponsor any of them and support the cause, click on the donate tab above. Feel free to give as little or as much as you would like.
UPDATE: The race had 13 participants who raised a combined $911.56!
