During 2012 Carasmark raised over $5800. We were able to use this money to provide backpacks to 700 students attending elementary schools in Wilmington, DE and NYC. We also fed 1000 people by providing 100 meals (each feeding 10) to families in need in and around Wilmington, DE.
Looking forward to another year filled with exciting fundraising events and more opportunities to meet the needs of children and families.

We will be providing families with a festive, home-cooked meal this holiday season. This month’s menu: glazed ham, macaroni & cheese, roasted green beans, dinner rolls, and an assortment of Christmas cookies.
The Dinner Project usually provides meals to 8 families per month but since it is the season of giving, we would like to provide as many meals as possible. Each meal (feeding 10 people) costs $25 to make. Would you be willing to donate $25 to provide a family with a delicious and much-appreciated holiday meal?
Giving a meal on someone’s behalf makes for an excellent Christmas present!

One of our board members, Chris Fraser, is organizing this race in memory of his two nieces, Caitlyn and Laura. Nathan Palkovitz and Shannon Lynch will be joining him in the race on Saturday, October 27th. To sponsor any of them and support the cause, click on the donate tab above. UPDATE: The race had 13 participants who raised a combined $911.56!

It only costs $7 to provide an elementary student with a backpack filled with school supplies. Having a brand new backpack to call their own is such a meaningful thing to a child starting school. If you would like to contribute to this project, click “donate” to make a tax-deductible donation that will touch a child’s life in a worthwhile way.

Backpack Project: It’s that time again. Carasmark will be donating 700 backpacks this year! 400 of the backpacks will be going to elementary schools in Wilmington, DE thanks to a $2564 grant from the Wilmington Flower Market. The remaining 300 backpacks will go to elementary schools in New York, NY.
Dinner Project Menu: Lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and berry frozen yogurt pie.

Carasmark is happy to welcome two new members, Jordan Ambra and Chris Fraser, to the Board of Directors. They are both long-time supporters of the organization and we are happy to have them serving on the Board.
Elizabeth Letham has stepped down as Treasurer after serving since Carasmark was founded, 4 years ago. We would like to thank her for everything she has done to make the organization a success and for the continued support.

During 2011, Carasmark raised over $5400. This money provided 48 home-cooked meals to families in need.
Through The Backpack Project, Carasmark was able to give away 600 backpacks filled with school supplies to students attending elementary schools in Wilmington, DE and NYC.

This month Carasmark will be making a complete Thanksgiving dinner for eight families. On the menu: Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

Carasmark 4th Annual Walkathon

Fun for the whole family! Dogs are welcome to walk too! Walkathon will feature prizes, face-painting, refreshments and a playground for kids. Invite your friends and family with you to come out and support a great cause. All money raised will benefit Carasmark.
$10- Individual, $30- Family, $40- Team (4-8 people)
